TechWars PsiFi

TechWars is the ultimate showdown- gladiator style. Prove yourself as the ultimate hipster of today. Form a formidable team consisting of artists, entrepreneurs, dreamers and problem solvers and compete across the digital spectrum with challenges such as digital art, programming and social entrepreneurship.

TechWars is the newest entry in PsiFi, comprising of three rounds:

1. A Coding Conquerors Round is a two-tier round in which participants would have to:
(a) Program a robot to solve obstacle paths based on the puzzle game, LightBot.
(b) Code and design simple interactive games using the MIT Scratch programming environment.

2. A Digital Art Contest in which participants would work on a given theme and come up with artistic and innovative ideas for a digital poster using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva.com.

3. A Social Innovation Challenge in which participants would be expected to come up with a technology-driven solution for a given challenge.
