LES Social Outreach Program

Throughout its history, LES has strived for and focused on creating a positive impact on
individuals, mostly in the form of educating them and providing different platforms for the
application of their knowledge. The SOP acknowledges this, and formalizes such efforts
undertaken by the society.
The LES SOP is an extension of the concept of social entrepreneurship. It aims to find innovative solutions to pressing social problems, hence linking “social” to “entrepreneurship”. The idea is this; give back to individuals by fostering in them the need to achieve more, to be inspired by innovation and to be the entrepreneurs of the future. Thus, involve individuals for a. refining
their potential and b. inspiring innovation, as the vision of LES states.
