Punjab

Punjab is the country of the Punjabi People who are an Aryan people and speak Punjabi. Its population is about 130 million. The Punjabi Civilisation goes back six thousand years to the time of the Pre-Indus Valley people.

It was in Punjab that the world's most ancient, living religion, Hinduism was born and developed and its scriptures compiled. It was also in Punjab where the world's first university was established in Taxila more than two thousand years ago
