United Energy Pakistan (UEP) assumed control of oil & gas exploration and production assets managed by BP Pakistan in September, 2011.

The company is a subsidiary of United Energy Group (UEG), a Hong Kong listed energy company. UEP focuses primarily on exploration and production, managing the entire process from the first assessment of the site to the initial production of oil and gas. Our onshore assets consist of over fifty production leases and four exploration blocks, located in the Sindh province with the concession boundary starting 100 km to the east of Karachi. Our offshore assets consist of two operated blocks situated about 250 kilometres south of the Karachi coast in deep waters.

We work in an area that spans nine districts in the Sindh province which are Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Sujawal, Hyderabad (rural), Matiari, Sanghar, Umerkot and Mirpurkhas. This translates to an onshore footprint of more than 10,000 square kilometres.
