Sangha Pakistan (the applicant organization for the proposed project) is working since 2008 Sangha Pakistan is registered NGO under societies act 1860, working to 2008 since 2014 It has a reputable track record of success of working with community for organizing them and mobilizing them to struggle for their rights. It has good networking with local civil society and government concerned authorities. Sangha Pakistan has experienced executive body of 7 persons in the development sector. Chairperson of Sangha Pakistan has 18 years experience as a Human rights Activist engaged with an International Organization for women empowerment. Vice Chairperson is a social worker in the area of the proposed project. General Secretary has a professional experience of more than 10 years a human rights activist. Sangha Pakistan has an advocate and women social worker in the team of executive board. Sangha Pakistan has a governance structure and is accountable to all its members for its activities and projects.
Sangha Pakistan is implementing a project on Sustainable Development for Vulnerable Rural Communities in partnership of South Asia Partnership in tehsil Dera Ismail Khan. This project is for three years 2012-2014, we have reached directly to 4530 while in-directly we reached to 20000 people living in poverty especially the women through training, infrastructure improvement and asset transferring.
