Started by four aspiring student entrepreneurs in the institution of LUMS, NearPeer is an online website platform that aims to provide video libraries of courses that are institution specific. One can call it a more personalized Coursera or Udemy; by picking capable instructors or ‘NearPeers’ from a targeted institution, NearPeer aspires to recreate the whole course experience by allowing those instructors, who are experts in their courses and the style of teaching in the institution, to create videos that capture every element unique to that course. The end result comes out to be video libraries for students that are concise, highly affordable and targeted for superior academic performance.
