Naryab

Naryab is a town and union council of Hangu District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is an old village of the Kohat Division and there is a Small Dam in upper area of Naryab by which the farmers of that village irrigate their farms.Naryab is bordered by Zargari to the north, Kahi to the east, Tora Wari to the west, and Doaba to the south.Main problems of Naryab include construction of road, electricity, gas besides health facilities and quality education. Recently the issue of Naryab Road has become a bone of contention between JUI-F and PTI, the two big political parties of District Hangu. Gas royalty fund has already been issued to Tehsil Thall, where above five crore rupees have been allocated for the construction of Naryab Road. However, PTI MNA Haji Khyal Zaman wants to utilize this find while JUI-F MPA wants to do the same. Their political tussle for increasing their vote bank has been delaying the construction of Naryab Road for more than three years. The famous social media of Naryab named Naryab Khabroona and its team have been trying to create pressure on the MNA and MPA, and press them for reconciliation to construct the road. However, both of them and their supporters are playing tactics with the local people.Another main problem of Naryab is electricity. After the formation of PTI's government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and PML-N's government in Pakistan, the electricity of the area was disconnected for not paying the dues. However, the village people say that they cannot pay dues, which are unjustified. They claim that before 2013, WAPDA was releasing only 10 volt electricity for two hours in 24 hours. Therefore, it is unjustified to pay more than two hundred thousands electricity bill without having electricity in the village.
