Lahore Grammar School was established in January 1979.
The paramount ideology behind the inception was the creative vision of a group of women aiming to provide a solution to the country's education needs.
The primary focus of Lahore Grammar School is to provide students a nurturing environment which fosters creativity, self development and the spirit of enquiry and independent thought. Academic success, intellectual development and holistic development of young individuals are our goals.
The initial focus of the company was the promotion of female education. This was followed up the opening of a boys' branch in 1992.
The Lahore Grammar School system now has 21 branches in Lahore and 12 branches countrywide including a girl's college which offers undergraduate programs in arts, science, mathematics and Compute Studies.
In April 1997 Lahore Grammar School launched another network called the Landmark Project to cater to the needs of the middle income group.
The Board of Directors has now extended its educational network, known as the ILM schools, to children from the lower income group.
Lahore Grammar School management is also operating a onprofit charitable educational institution under ‘Lahore Education Society' a non-profit organization which imparts educational to the children of Lahore Grammar School custodian staff and others at a very nominal fee, thereby fulfilling its social and human responsibilities towards the economically handicapped strata of society.
Today Lahore Grammar School occupies a pivotal position in the educational setup of Pakistan, setting standards of excellence that remain unprecedented and unparallel. Our wards excel at academics and feature prominently on the CIE High Achievers lists in O and A Level Examinations. We have richly synchronized co-curricular activities programs and our students occupy top positions in diverse and multiple ranges of activities nationally and internationally.
We have remained true to our word of providing quality education and holistic development of our pupils and the future holds more promise.
