Q U R A N. A book of Allah, an address of Allah. Being Muslim, our faith and belief is to give honors to our Holly Book. The responsibility of its preservation accepted by Almighty Allah. We being a Muslim are unable to give due respect to the Shaheed Holly Quran, its pages and hadees Mubarikas. Now days every newspaper bears on its front page a translation of Qurrani Ayaats OR Hdees Mukarikas. News papers become old after few hours and thereafter these are being sold in the waste. At time Islamic editions, School Books on islamiyat and religious books are also being sold in waste. Sellers and buyers are Muslims due attention is also not being paid to those Qurans which pages are come shaeed due to continual reading,printing of Qurana, Religious tions and school books on islamiyat will continue but how the shaheed Qurans are to be disposed off with honour and dimity.

In Pakistan there are two ways for the disposal o Shaheed Holly Qurans and its pages. One is by burying in graveyards and secondly by putting in to rivers/sea. Buried can come out at any time while in sea/rivers these have been seen floating towards the edges.

After retirement from service I join Balochistan Tractors and Services Quetta. Two brothers Haji Mir Abdul Samad Lehri and Haji Adul Rasheed Lehri visited us in connection for purchase of a tractor. During discussion we came to know that Haji Mir Abdul Samad Lehri use to collect shaheed Quran and its pages including Religious Books & manuscripts etc being printed in newspapers and are presently burying them in graveyard located in hills along side western bypass Quetta.Myself and Haji Allah Noor visted site and decided to join the mission. Thus mission started by two brothers become a mission of four Friends.

In March 1992 it was decided that instead of burying why not to be kept in sakes/bags and store in caves by digging into hills. Thus the digging of caves started. Cave No.1 completed successfully and started keeping sacks/bags one side of cave and leaving other side of cave for visitors by laying synthetic carpets The site was named “JABAL-E-NOOR-UL QURAN”. It was placed open to the visitors So on some more volunteers join into and it is still going on Self help bases.

In August 2000 we framed a Governing body and got it registered with the Government of Balochistan with an intention to seek some help but we were refused quoting that” it does not come under Socials Works” .

Presently the works in going on and we have five Blocks “A, “B”, “C”, “D”, and “E” each block contain 10 to 15 main caves and 15 to 25 interlink sub caves in a Block.

Due to heavy load of works and short of funds all the blocks has been filled fully
And sealed. Only Block “A” has been placed open for the visitors. Main entrance is from Cave No.10. Before entrance you will find Library on the Left Hand & Site Incharge Room on right hand. After entrance you will find Donation Box, Sketch of Blocks, on left side you will show Cases in line in which 300 to 500 years old Hand written (Kalmi Qurans). You will find three prayer rooms for ladies on left side and three prayer rooms on right for Gents. After the payers rooms, you will find the cave closed with bags, please stay here and watch the bags, These bags are made of from imported printed lady cloth, watch the print minutely you will find in the print name of ALLAH in Arabic. Please be conscious while purchasing cloth. Move to the right and keep on moving along the bags you will be reached back to the enter point, after you have seen all the caves Block No.1 to10 that of “A” Block. Weather in caves you will feel HOT in winter and COOL in hot season while in caves.

How to works- We have two Toyota vans donated by Haji Mir Abdul Samad Lehri and Haji Abdul Rasheed Lehri Founders of Jabal-e-Noor-ul-Quran in the name of PROPHIT MUHAMMAD” SALILA ELEHI WASLAM”.

All the Mosques Madrisas in Quetta City and surrounding are having our mobile numbers. On call our van rush up to collect the Shaheed Qurani bags.
n receipt bags in sorting section our sorting staff sorting out carefully. The Holy Qurans need repairing replacing of Para one and last Para 30th. (Most cases

these two paras and binding is required) hence these are sent to binding section, for repair and binding. Second category is readable and new Qurans,
Qaidy, Supary, Panj Suray, Suras, Yaseem shrif, Prayer book, Religious Books, and other darsi books are directly placed in Library. Where as repaired Qurans, on receipt also placed in library. Only Shaheed Qurans and its pages are being stored in cave.

So far 6 thousand repaired Quran Pak and countless Qaidy, Suparay, Panjpary, Salat books, Suray, and other religious books delivered to the needy Fesabilila.

As regards its financing, it is submitted that Jabal-e-Noor-ul-Quran is not receiving any financial assistant from the Government/Semi Government OR any Organization. We never stuck at any stage. The Governing Body and some time donors are financing the project. The work has been expanded so much that we now feel it necessary to appeal to the Muslims to join us. You can donate in following aspects,

a. Digging of Caves b. Staff Ration/ Pay c. Fuel for vehicles
d. New Qurans /Religious books e. Cloth for bags
f. New OR 2nd Hand Van for Ambulance for our future project
