Islamabad Model Postgraduate College

Islamabad Model Postgraduate College, H-8, Islamabad is the oldest college of ISLAMABAD which is located near Allama Iqbal open university building on the east side.The college is the biggest college in the Asia on the basis of the area. It was established in 1965-66 in two buildings of primary schools in Sector F-6/2, Islamabad. Later on it was shifted to a new larger building in Sector F-7/4 where Margala College for Girls is working now. The College was shifted to its own building in Sector H-8 where it is functioning now a days since early 80s. Many renowned persons studied in this College. One of them is Senator Babar Awan.

(Now this college offers Bachelors & Master's degree program for Boys & Girls in Affiliation with Quaid-e-Azam University)
