ICB Islamabad College for Boys, G-6/3, Islamabad

INTRODUCTION :



Islamabad College For Boys, G-6/3, spread over an area of around 15, 000 square yards is set amidst picturesque and lush green landscape. The Location of the college is most ideally situated and provides an atmosphere befitting a modern educational institution.

It was 1966, that the idea of a modal educational institution in the Federal Capital was transformed into a reality when the first Islamabad Model School for Boys, was established.

The school was then incepted as a non residential English medium institution, on the pattern of a public school. Encouraged by its superb overall performance, this school was upgraded to intermediate level in 1975. it was then elevated to a Degree College in 1985 and was affiliated with the University of the Punjab. Recently I. C. B got another feather in its cap. The University of the Punjab granted permission to start B. Com classes.

Since its inception in 1966, I.C.B has relentlessly struggled to scale the peaks in the domains to curricular and extra curricular activities and has successfully its tally of achievement to data.



ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACADEMIC STRUCTURE

The college in view of its multidimensional outlook has been divided into three categories so that academic activities are channelized smoothly.

Junior Section Classes 1 to v
Senior Section Class VI to xii
Degree Section B.A./B.Sc and B.Com

To cater to the vast and expanded establishment the senior section is jointly supervised by Vice Principal (Admin) and Vice principal (Academic). The Headmistress coordinates both the administrative and academic programs of the Junior Section. The respective in charges assist the Principal in running the affairs of the college and implementation of policies.
