All Things Hunza

All Things Hunza is a website that curates content about the district of Hunza and publishes on regular basis fresh information about the region. The website was started in 2016 by Imran Ahmed Hunzai.

The website is divided into 9 sections:

1. Blog
The blog is where we post most of the stories. It is subdivided into four sub-sections.

Hunza Through Foreign Eyes
There is something common between all national and foreign tourists who visit the spectacular valley – they have so much to say about their journey. This section invites tourists to share their experience in Hunza with our readers.

From Hunza with Love
This section is maintained by our editorial team and features stories about general happenings in the district.

Know the Unknown
There are a lot of mysteries and myths about Hunza and its people. This section is dedicated to posting facts and figures that otherwise could go untalked about on the internet.

Gilgit Aur Baltistan
Hunza is one of the ten districts of Gilgit-Baltistan. This section of All Things Hunza blog showcases popular stories from districts of Gilgit-Baltistan other than Hunza.

2. About
About section is where you get important facts and figures about the website, Hunza valley, culture and traditions of Hunza, festivals of Hunza, museums, and forts in Hunza, and things that you could do in Hunza as a tourist.

3. Hunza Diet
Formerly, this has been part of our blog but owing to popular demand, a separate section has been made about the organic food and diet of Hunza valley. This is the place where you find organic food recipes and information about Hunza cuisine.

4. Hunza Online Shop
We are collaborating with over a dozen individuals and small businesses to bring you products from Hunza valley to an online store from where you could order these products no matter what part of the world you live in. Except for our merchandise, all products are handmade by the artisans of Hunza valley.

5. Humans of Hunza
Inspired by Humans of New York (HONY), Humans of Hunza (HOH) is a project started by Imran Ahmed Hunzai, the founder of All Things Hunza. This section showcases stories of common Hunzokuts (Hunza people) in their own words. The project can be accessed through the sub-domain www.humans.hunza.co

6. Tours
All Things Hunza in collaboration with licensed companies offers exclusive tours to the Hunza valley. Our tailored tours are unique in a way that they offer a closer interaction with the culture, music, heritage, food and lifestyle of the people of Hunza valley. We also offer fixed tours as well as tailored tours for groups, families, filmmakers and researchers.

7. Events
The valleys of Hunza celebrate over two dozen festivities throughout the year. The events section features stories about the festivals of Hunza celebrated both inside and outside Hunza.

8. Videos
A picture speaks a thousand words. A video speaks probably a million. The video section is a place to find all the interesting videos about Hunza valley and its people.

9. Live
Live video has recently started making waves and we cannot hold back the idea to go live whenever there is a worth sharing event going on. Check out this space for regular live videos from festivals, cultural and musical events and even just random scenic places in Hunza. The archive of these videos will be saved on our Youtube channel.

About the Founder:
Imran Ahmed Hunzai was born and raised Karimabad, Hunza. He studied Computer Sciences at COMSATS Islamabad before co-founding Centangle Interactive – an Islamabad-based digital media company.
