Govt. Millat Degree College is one of the renowned institutions of the Faisalabad city and situated most populous area Ghulam Muhammad Abad (the biggest colony of Asia). This college was established was in 1970 by some senior educationists under the name of Millat Education Foundation. For this purpose munciple corporation's which was adjacent to to Iqbal Park Faisalabad was got on rent. At the very outset, only intermediate classes were started. The college got the services of able teachers like Professor Saeed Ahmad Khan right from the beginning.

In 1972 this college was nationalized and hence become Govt. Millat Degree College Faisalabad.
