With respect to strengthening India's own infrastructure, Electrotherm ventured into the Steel Manufacturing industry at Kutch,Gujarat.An Integrated Steel Plant has been set up which is capable of producing 0.6 Million metric tons of crude steel, which is further processed into Pig Iron, Billets, TMT Bars and Ductile Iron Pipes.

To meet the ever growing demand of its quality products, Electrotherm has acquired Hans Ispat Limited May 2010, which is involved in manufacturing of TMT Bars with the capacity of 1.2 Lac tons Per Annum.
