Christ School Poonch

Christ School was founded by the CMI fathers from Kerala in the historical city of Poonch in April 1990. Under the able and efficient leadership of Rev. Fr. Joseph Paikada CMI and Fr.Jacob Keekkarikkattu CMI and with the support of efficient and inspiring staff the school flourished in the city of Poonch.
The motto of the school is- "Be the Light of the World."The school is providing quality education to the students fron last 25 years and the school will celebrate its silver jubliee this year that is 2014.
The school have a very elligible and affectionate teaching faculty.the school not only help the students to excel in studies but they help in the all around development of the children by conducting various programs along with their studies.
The school also have certain very important fests and competitions organised every year like-FIESTA, Xpressions,Cricket tournament,Badminton Tournament,Sports Day etc.
The school is affiliated with NCERT Board.The students of various batches of the institution have ranked among the top 20 positions of the state in the annual 10 standard examination. The one and only 1st position scorer in the state fron Christ School Poonch is Afreen Khalid Kohli. Many other students of the school have brought many awards to the school in various fields like sports, science, dramatics etc. Some of the best sportsperson of the institution are Gourav Phool, Prabjot Singh Toofan, Sarabjeet Singh, Urvashi Ranyal, Piyush Gupta, Bhanu Lekh Dutta, Faisal Mir etc.
