BUITEMS Faculty of Information and Communication Technology

“Faculty of Computer and Emerging Sciences” was established in 2002 with a single department, the BS Department of System Sciences. Initially this department offered two degrees BS Computer Science and Computer Engineering. The Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Telecommunication Engineering and the Department of Information Technology was established in 2003,2005, & 2006 respectively. “Faculty of Computer & Emerging Sciences” was renamed as “Faculty of Information & Communication Technology” in the first meeting of Senate held on June 23, 2007.
