Army Public College, PMA Kakul Campus

It was established in 1965 as a Kindergarten facility in a small hut, for early education of children of army personnel serving in pakistan military academy. In order to meet the increasing demand for quality education, it was upgraded as primary school,shifted to two E-Type houses, and on 14 march 1984 it was formally inaugurated by Begum Gen. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. in 1989, a block of eight and in1991,a block of ten new classrooms were added to meet the ever growing needs of the school. Later in 1996, it was upgraded to SSC level School. In 2001,ten classrooms were further added to increase the number of sections. The journey of progress continued and in 2004, ten more classrooms were constructed to extend the junior wing. A landmark was achieved by the school in 2006 when it was recognized by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad as Intermediate College. Now, the School that began its journey from a hut, has grown to a huge organization with 38 fully equipped classrooms.
