Aqs - a name driven from the medieval theory of aesthetics that every work of art presupposes an intrinsic form; that intrinsic form is the image an artist carries in his mind before he embodies it in amorphous matter or creates it on a canvas, hence the artwork being a reflection, an Aqs, of the artist's imaginations.

Following this theory The Gallery at Aqs aims to promote true art by appreciating and celebrating the works of some of our legendary and established artists as well as provide a platform to the emerging ones.

The Center for Culture, Dialogue, Education and Research at Aqs is simultaneously being developed as a place that will feed your appetite and quench your thirst for knowledge.
