BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COLLEGE: -

The southern part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been a backward region of the province since Independence. Bannu, a part of the southern region, is not an exception. Although, Bannu has given birth to luminaries in various fields, yet these achievements remained individual. People at large always remained deprived of all the fields of social development. Education, the key to social development in all fields, was dream for common folk except the privileged few. Since long a dire need was being felt to establish a prestigious institution to provide high quality education and character building to the people of this district in particular and the whole province in general. The establishment of Akram Khan Durrani College Bannu is an admirable endeavor to meet this dire need. This shows the commitment of the present Government to provide quality education facilities to the common people of this area. The faculty of Akram Khan Durrani College Bannu is committed to achieve excellence through dedication and hard work. Our mission is to provide not only high quality teaching, but also effective training coupled with conducive environment for learning and character building. This is a challenging task but we are committed to live up to this.
