Akbari Public School

Siraj House Society (Trust) was established in 1979 by Sheikh Fazal Elahi Akbar (Late), ex-chairman Akbari group with an objective to serve the society in particular and nation in general. A free dispensary is working since 1980 in the premises of Siraj house society located in Shad bagh, Lahore. Realizing the need of a quality school that offers quality education for children of that area, Siraj house society Trust embarked on a project of higher secondary school. A purpose built campus with 22 classrooms, science labs, computer lab, library, and an administration block was completed in 2004.

Over the past few years, the school has established its repute as the only school in the area with a purpose built campus and excellent quality of education against a very nominal fee. Today, the school has 36 classrooms and separate blocks for boys and girls.

It is working on its full capacity of 900 students and has achieved excellent results in Punjab bard exams. More than 90% of the students have scored an A grade in Primary, Middle and Matric board exams. Akbari Public School's alumni is represented at Lahore's top colleges such as Government College, FC College, Punjab College and Islamia College civil lines.

Akbari Public School also focuses on character building and personality development by indulging every student into moral training, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as annual sports gala, fun fair, science exhibition, debating competitions etc. Currently the school is focusing on extending its education level up to intermediate/ O-Level while maintaining and continuously improving its current status.
