Aga Khan Hospital

The Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi was established as the principal teaching hospital for The Aga Khan University in 1983. The Aga Khan Hospital is a private, not for profit hospital, has been focused on delivering the highest quality health care in Pakistan for the past 30 years.

In 2006, the Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi became the first and only Hospital in Pakistan to be awarded by the Joint Commission International (JCI); an American accreditation that is considered the gold standard in global healthcare. The Hospital is also ISO 9001:2008 certified.

Over the last 10 years, the landscape of the healthcare industry has evolved; and so have the demands of patients. Hence, the Aga Khan Hospital has adopted the hub-and-spoke model.
