The university is situated 12 km towards South West from Abbottabad and 21 km from Haripur to north which is easily accessible not only to the students of the surrounding areas but also give easy access to the students of Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi and Charsadda. It was notified on June 01, 2015 by Higher Education Department and regular classes of BBA, MBA and MA (English) were started in two tents with indigenous academic and administrative staff when it was a sub-campus of Hazara University.
With the passage of time and under the dynamic guidance of the Project Director, this tiny institution will soon attain the status of one of the best university of the country and will spread the light of education not only in this part but also to the whole country. This university is a valuable contribution in the field of education. The aim and object is not only confined to impart education to the young generation but to improve the social and economic conditions of the people of the area. Quaid-i-Azam, the founder of Pakistan fought to create Pakistan where there would be no segregation among its citizens on the basis of cast, creed or language.
