Rangoonwala Centre

VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME:
The Centre offers different types of courses for both men and women. However, majority of the course are for women's only. These courses are basically for those who have interest or looking for a hobby and for those who want to acquire new skills that can be used towards making financial headway. The Centre awards Attendance Certificates to each student who successfully completes the course. Students can take admission in as many courses as they choose.

Around 450,000 ladies have been trained since 1971 in different trades. The Education Programme offers around 70 vocational courses, designed in such a way that after completion, the students can start to earn or just use as a hobby. Numerous young women are earning their livelihood or supplementing their family income due to the training received at the Centre.

Over 14,000 students are registered annually. All the laboratories and classes are fully equipped with modern educational facilities.

Whether one wants to learn for personal development or educational enlightenment or to enhance ones earning capacity, be it for your own self or to help others, the ZVMG Rangoonwala Community Centre is there to provide the course. The Centre also actively encourages and supports people with disabilities or handicaps to attend courses. To facilitate students from lower income groups to take advantage of courses conducted at the Centre, fees for all courses have been kept at a minimum. The Centre is subsidized by the Trust. Concessions are also available to deserving candidates.

ZULEIKHABAI HALL:
The Zuleikhabai Hall is a multipurpose facility within the ZVMG Rangoonwala Community Centre. It has recently gone through a full scale renovation. This well-equipped hall accommodates up to 440 people. Part of the facility is a spacious Courtyard available for functions where food can be served. The Hall has been redesigned taking into consideration acoustics, the latest technology and equipment, ergonomics and modernity. The Zuleikhabai Hall can be used for a wide range of purposes including business meetings, classical and pop concerts, theatrical and dance performances, marketing presentations, annual meetings, lectures, seminars and marriage ceremonies.

BANUBAI PHYSIOTHERAPY CENTRE:
The Banubai Physiotherapy Centre is another project of the ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust where patients are treated with the latest equipment and techniques. The Centre provides rehabilitation services by a skilled professionals using the latest equipment, exercises to help patients return to an active and healthy life. Our team of professionals includes; Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist.

MOTHER & CHILD CARE CENTRE:
A centre where mothers, children and general patients receives medical assistance overseen by well experienced lady doctors. Over 14,000 patients attend the Centre annually for treatment, vaccination and family planning consultation. The charges are nominal for medication and consultation. The Centre serves everyone, as specially the less fortunate families of society.
