Govt Islamia Science & Arts/Commerce College Sukkur

Govt. Islamia Science College, Sukkur is one of the biggest and the most representative educational institutes of upper Sindh. The institution has a very prestigious record of its previous achievements in the educated Society. This college was established in 1956 and shifted to the new building in 1962 and was nationalized in September 1972. The college was bifurcated into two independent and separate colleges in 1973 having separate establishment teaching and administrative staff as Govt. Islamia Science College, Sukkur and Govt. Islamia Arts / Commerce College, Sukkur.
Government Islamia Science College, Sukkur consists of Intermediate, Degree Section and BS (CS) Programmes.
Since nationalization, this institution has achieved enviable triumphs both in the curricular and co-curricular fields. It stands grouped among the five most prestigious colleges of the province of Sindh.
