Govt College for Elementary Teachers - W DGKhan

The Govt. College for Elementary Teachers (f) Dera Ghazi Khan was established as Normal School on 10th July1984 to fulfill the educational requirements of the area and P.T.C class was inducted in the beginning. The Normal School was upgraded to the level of Govt. College for Elementary Teachers on 1st July 1986. Now C.T, O.T, and D.M Classes were inducted. In 2002 all these classes were replaced by B.Ed. class. In 2010 ADE leading to B.Ed. (Hons.) has been started and going on.
The college has its capacious campus with sufficient space for ensuring Effective Learning environment. The college is focused to enhance the quality of education by producing well trained and qualified teachers having mastery over the contents and the capabilities to use modern state of art techniques to deliver the best to the prospective teachers.
The aim, set forth is to develop clinical training of prospective teachers and transformation of these into agents of change.
